Stay Jay has sensationally mentioned that he is still relevant in the game despite suggestions from some quarters that his career is dead.
The rapper churned out hit songs like Yenko Nkoaa, My Baby, Prepaid Gurl, Twame Lala, and Sue which propelled him to win the 2012 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards(VGMA) Best New Artiste of the Year award.
However, his mainstream relevance waned drastically and seems to have fallen off the music radar in recent times raising concerns about his relevance in the Ghanaian music scene.

New trends, he claimed, were appearing, and he was taking his time to observe them, adjust, and release songs that would satisfy standards and enthral both his fans and music lovers.
“The system evolves always so I make sure I catch up with the new trends to provide the best of good music to fans and music lovers. I am still active in the system with current releases. When you search, you will find new works from me.
“I am very experienced in this business. I have all the correct plugs so it’s never a problem for me to work my way around. I have released songs recently and they are banging hard. I have others in the pipeline and my fans will hear them soon,” he said as quoted by Graphic Showbiz.
Stay Jay said in addition to adjusting to the latest trends, he was also using every trick in the book to stay out of controversy.
