Anthony Ramos and Dominique Fishback are the Rising Stars of the Year!
The two actors, who are starring together in the upcoming Transformers: Rise of the Beasts, were honored this week at 2023 CinemaCon in Las Vegas.
Speaking to THR, Dominique and Anthony both shared their excitement for the upcoming movie, which is out on June 9.
“I used to work at a Regal theater at Battery Park in New York. I used to dream of being in movies like this,” Dominique shared.
Anthony then added that his love for the franchise goes back to the animated series: “I would wait every weekend for the newest episode to drop. Being a part of Transformers universe is beyond my wildest dreams. My 13-year-old self would be like, ‘Yo, that’s fire.’”
Here’s the official summary: Returning to the action and spectacle that have captured moviegoers around the world, Transformers: Rise of the Beasts will take audiences on a ‘90s globetrotting adventure with the Autobots and introduce a whole new faction of Transformers – the Maximals – to join them as allies in the existing battle for earth.
