Kane was asked about this after the game and told the Daily Mirror’s John Cross, as cited by Fabrizio Romano: “I heard what they were saying but I’m just focused on this team — and trying to finish strongly.” It’s quite clear that the Spurs captain, who became their all-time top goalscorer earlier this season, is still staying quiet on his future at Spurs and does not want to intensify the links to Old Trafford.

Kane is a proven goal-scorer in the Premier League and has over 270 goals for Spurs in his career. He’s even scored 55 goals for England, becoming his national team’s highest-ever goal-scorer as well. The 29-year-old is packed with experience and is a menacing play in the attack, having the ability to drop deep to influence moves and create chances – while being an elite finisher and penalty taker. Kane – who was praised as a ‘clever player’ by United manager Erik ten Hag recently – could be the perfect final piece of the puzzle for United and significantly improve their chances of strongly competing for major trophies if they’re able to sign him next season.
